This Privacy Policy describes how Household Bot ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you connect your Google (Gmail) or Microsoft (Outlook) mailboxes to our automated notification forwarding integration.

1. Information We Collect

When you link your mailbox to Household Bot via Google OAuth 2.0, we request permissions restricted to the gmail.readonly scope. This grants us access solely to:

• Search and read raw email headers and messages on your behalf.
• Retrieve metadata such as the sender, recipient, subject line, and body contents of emails.

We do not collect or store your Google account password. Access is authenticated and maintained securely via OAuth access and refresh tokens stored in our encrypted database.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data retrieved from your connected mailbox strictly to automate access verification and notification forwarding for your subscribed users. Specifically, our systems scan incoming emails for:

• Netflix Household verification links and temporary access codes.
• One-Time Passwords (OTPs) required to authenticate streaming or software accounts.

We do not use, share, or sell your email contents for marketing, advertising, analytics, or profiling purposes.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

We do not store your emails. Email messages are processed in memory to extract OTPs or verification links, and are discarded immediately after extraction. Only the extracted code/link is sent to your Telegram bot channel. You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account Security settings, which will instantly delete all associated OAuth tokens from our servers.

4. Information Security

We implement strict server-side technical and organizational security measures to protect your OAuth tokens against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. All api communications are encrypted in transit via SSL/TLS.
